I'm Ashley, a mother of two, a New Jersey native, and a proud Central Florida transplant of 15 years. My passion for birth work began with my own transformative experiences as a parent. My first birth involved a cascade of unwanted interventions, which left me feeling disempowered and overwhelmed. For my second, I knew I needed something different. I hired a doula, and the support I received changed everything—it helped me navigate my second hospital birth with clarity and confidence. That experience sparked something in me, and I’ve been committed ever since to helping other families feel informed, supported, and truly seen on their birth journeys.

Before stepping into the world of birth work, I spent years as a teacher and school administrator. That background has deeply shaped my approach: I value clear communication, strong organization, and staying up to date on evidence-based information families can trust. I also understand that every family is unique, and I take pride in offering support that is thoughtful, respectful, and tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.

As a doula, I provide not only emotional and physical support but also practical, behind-the-scenes help that allows parents to focus fully on what matters most during birth and the early postpartum period. I’m here to help you navigate your options, feel confident in your choices, and step into this new chapter with strength and support.

Outside of birth work, you’ll find me spending time outdoors with my family, traveling, practicing yoga, or experimenting in the kitchen. I’m also passionate about social issues affecting children and mothers, and I’m continually exploring what it means to grow and rediscover myself in motherhood and beyond.
